Hunt Off Season, King Cake IPA, 8.7% ABV

Here is something very special. The first of our beers in collaboration with Warcloud brewing for Barrels on the Bayou 2026.

We created an orange zest and floral-forward based IPA with the intention of briefly aging in on 12 king cakes baked by our family and New Orleans  institution, Swiss Confectionery. The result is a boozy, dry IPA perfectly married with our beloved carnival confection, albeit off season! I couldn't have imagined in my wildest dreams that this insanely novel idea would come to fruition so beautifully, but I'm happy and honored that Warcloud Brewing elevated and pushed our creative limits.
