As Cold As Monkey Hill, American Lager
My dad always had a six pack of a certain Colorado lager in the fridge. It was his go-to, and actually the first beer I ever had a sip of (I thought it was gross but was intrigued). So I decided with the hot weather moving in, we needed a thirst quenching macro-style lager that you can drink buckets of.
While not nearly as cold as western mountain ranges, I have supremely fond memories of rolling down Monkey Hill on trips to the zoo with my parents. And nowadays I get to watch my little one do the same.
A classic lager with a bit corn for lightness, and a touch of the American mainstay Willamette hops round out this extremely drinkable beer.
