'Nacular Misbelief, Japanese Plum Sour,
This non-native fruit tree is so ever-present in Nola that it FEELS native. Heck they even made a bounce-style song on the West Bank about it. This is a mixed ferm sour beer with complexity in both the aroma and acid profile. The fruit is delicately in balance with some darker Belgian malts and the acid in this beer. At only a few months old in the tank, it still has some complex notes that are reminiscent of long-aged Belgian sours, but its clean american yeast profile allows the casual sour drinker to enjoy as well.
